This is a replacement pop-up waste assembly for steam showers and shower cabins with a tub base, rather than a low tray, also used on Steam Showers with Whirlpools.
- Steam drain/overflow connection: if your old waste has a threaded connection, there is nothing to do. If yours is push-fit (held by a Jubilee clip), drill through the push-fit spigot, which comes undrilled, and blank off the threaded port with a 1/2-inch BSP blanking cap. Or add this plastic connector to convert to the newer threaded connector fitted on this waste, or switch the existing steam generator drain hose to a double ended hose.
