How to identify yours
- Ring lights: ours are 270mm across with a mini plug for 12V power, in white, blue or multi-coloured. They sit inside the diffuser above the monsoon head.
- Diffuser cover: match it to the monsoon head it houses: 15cm, 20cm (Aqualux) or 25cm.
- Strip lights: count the strips and bulbs. Our tower lights are 4 strips of 3 bulbs, 60mm apart; the front column lights are 3 strips of 6, 70mm apart.
- Spotlights: the 12V roof spotlight is 7.5cm across and 10 watts. Each chromotherapy spot needs a 70mm cut-out and 60mm of depth.
Symptoms and likely causes
Light out while everything else works: most often the light fitting itself, not the wiring. See a light that has stopped working.
Burning or electrical smell: stop using the cabin, isolate the power and call an electrician. See a burning smell.
The power trips when the cabin runs: isolate it and have an electrician find the cause. See a cabin that trips the electric.

Fitting tip
Diffuser covers are named by the monsoon head they house, not by their outside size, so measure the monsoon head, not the cover.
When to call a professional
Every light here connects into the cabin’s electrics. Isolate the power and have an electrician fit it, including any plug, joint or driver.
Frequently asked questions
Can I swap a fluorescent ring for LED?
Yes. Our white, blue and multi-coloured rings are listed as direct replacements or retrofits for older fluorescent rings, and an LED ring bypasses the ballast in the roof. Isolate the power and have an electrician make the swap.
How many chromotherapy spotlights can I fit?
Up to eight from the product options. The chromotherapy lights come with a 12V transformer and remote, and each spot comes on a 100cm cable, so they can sit up to 100cm apart.
How many Insignia spotlights come in a set?
Six as standard, with up to 20 available. The Insignia set is controlled from the touch panel in the steam room.
