How to identify yours

  • Buttons and dials: the air jet on/off button (style 1, style 2) and the regulator dial (style 1, style 2) each come in two styles. Style 1 is 47mm across and 110mm tall overall. Style 2 is 60mm across and sits lower: 85mm for the button, 100mm for the dial. Both styles take a 35mm hole in the bath top.
  • Mixer: our single mixer has four 1/2-inch BSP threaded connections and is 124mm long overall.
  • On/off taps: the filler and hand shower taps each have one 1/2-inch BSP threaded connection.
  • Filler tap (not the on/off tap): our chrome filler tap is 70mm wide, 60mm high and 15mm deep.

Symptoms and likely causes

Whirlpool won’t start when you press the button: most often the water level safety cut-out, not the pump or the button. The sensor has to be covered before the pump will run. See a whirlpool pump that won’t run.

Button or dial cracked, loose or worn: replace it with the same style.

Inlet cover missing or broken: ours is 95mm across and pushes in on stepped plastic feet at 40mm diameter.

Fitting tip

Before you change a button that does nothing, check the connection pipe between the button and the pump hasn’t filled with water.

When to call a professional

The taps and mixer are plumbing: isolate the water before you undo anything. The pump and its wiring are electrics: isolate the power and have an electrician do it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy the taps one at a time?

Yes. The mixer, filler on/off tap and hand shower tap are sold singly, or all three together as the mixer valve set.

What size hole do the taps need?

One wide enough to take a 27mm thread, for the mixer and both on/off taps.

Do the filler taps come with a nut?

Yes. The chrome filler tap and the brass filler tap both come with a fixing nut and fit a standard 1/2-inch BSP thread.
