Door Handles and Knobs
If a door handle has cracked, snapped or come away from the glass, or a knob has gone missing, these replace it. Handles aren’t universal: what has to match is the spacing between the two holes in the glass, and every handle we sell suits 145mm. Ours match Insignia, Vidalux and Aqualusso parts. Unsure? Take the old handle off and send a photo of the holes with a tape measure across them.

How to identify yours
- Hole centres: the gap between the two holes in the glass. All our handles suit 145mm.
- Hole size: our two stainless back-to-back handles, the 200mm and the 170mm oval, need a hole of at least 7.5mm. The Style 2, Style 3, bubble effect and plain chrome pairs, and both knobs, need at least 5mm. The chunky chrome handles don’t give a hole size, so send us yours.
- Glass: the 200mm stainless handle suits glass up to 10mm thick.
- Knob or handle: a knob uses one hole. Ours are 38mm across, in plastic or chrome finish.
Symptoms and likely causes
Door drags or squeaks as you pull the handle: almost always the rollers or a dirty track, not the handle. See a door that squeaks or sticks.
Door shuts but won’t seal: usually the frame or door out of line. See a door that won’t seal.
Handle cracked, snapped or missing a half: replace the set, matching the hole centres.

Fitting tip
Take the old handle off before you measure. Read the gap from the middle of one hole to the middle of the other, and measure the hole across too, with the bolt out.
When to call a professional
A handle swap needs no specialist tools. If the glass round the holes is chipped or cracked, stop: that’s a glazier’s job, not a parts swap.
Frequently asked questions
Is a pair one door or two?
It depends on the handle. Our 200mm and oval stainless handles are each one back-to-back set for one door, so two doors need two. Our chunky chrome handles come as a pair for two doors.
Are the fixings included?
Yes, on both stainless back-to-back handles, the 200mm and the oval.
Which handle suits a heavy door?
Our oval stainless handle is the one made for heavy glass doors.
Got the gap between the holes? Send us the centre measurement and a photo of the old handle, and we’ll pick the match.
