How to identify yours
- Single shelf, 320mm wide: our Glass Shelf with Rail is 320mm x 80mm with fixings at 300mm centres.
- Single shelf, 360mm wide: our Glass Shelf with Rail for Steam & Shower Cabins is 360mm x 100mm with adjustable fixings.
- Twin chrome rail shelf: the twin rail shelf fixes at 300mm across and 45mm up. The two tier shelf fixes at 350mm across and 350mm up.
- Rails: the T bar towel rail fixes at 400mm, and the padded grab rail at 355mm.
What usually goes wrong
Cracked or chipped glass: replace the whole shelf, matched to the old fixing holes.
Chrome pitted or corroded: swap the rail or shelf like for like.
Black mould on the shelves or seals: trapped moisture, not a failed part. See mould inside a cabin.

Fitting tip
Measure between the centres of the old screw holes, not across the shelf or rail. The two can differ a lot: the T bar rail is 500mm wide but fixes at 400mm.
When to call a professional
Shelves and rails carry no water or wiring, so this is a basic tools job. If the cabin has to come away from the wall to reach the fixings, isolate the power first.
Frequently asked questions
Does the two tier shelf come assembled?
No. It arrives flat packed, with its twin chrome fittings and supports.
Is the grab rail for a cabin or a bath?
Mostly steam shower and whirlpool baths. It’s padded, dark grey and 35mm in diameter.
How far does the towel rail stand off the wall?
60mm from the fixing surface. The rail itself is 15mm across.
