How to identify yours

  • Roof or arm: a roof-mounted monsoon head has a threaded stem, about 45mm long, that pushes up through the cabin roof. An arm-mounted head hangs from a shower arm on a swivel ball joint. Check which you have before you order.
  • Diameter: our round monsoon heads run from 14.8cm to 25cm, and there is an 18cm square head.
  • Riser kits: measure between the top and bottom fixings. Ours come at 455mm, 460mm and 530mm centres, and oval rails need oval holders.
  • Body jets: measure the face and the hole behind it (35mm face on a 29mm hole, 50mm on 40mm, or 80mm on 70mm), then check whether the back has one open end or two.

Symptoms and likely causes

Body jets that pulse on a pumped supply often point to a sticking non-return valve at the water inlets, not the jets. See weak or pulsing body jets.

Low pressure at every outlet is usually the supply rather than the head. See low water pressure.

A drip where the hose meets the head is nearly always a worn washer. See a leaking hose.

Fitting tip

If the light plug on an LED monsoon head doesn’t match your cabin’s lighting output, it can be joined with a standard choc box connector. That joint sits in the cabin’s electrics, so isolate the power and have an electrician make it.

When to call a professional

Swapping a head, hand shower or holder needs no specialist tools once the water is off. Roof heads and body jets are reached from above or behind the cabin; if it has to come away from the wall, isolate the power first.

Frequently asked questions

Does an LED hand shower need wiring?

No. Our LED colour changing hand shower head lights up from the water flow, needs no batteries or power, and screws onto a standard ½” hose.

Will a new hand shower fit my hose?

Most will. Our multi function hand shower has ½” female fittings and suits nearly all steam showers, cabins and pods.

Will your foot massager fit my cabin?

Most likely. Our foot massager fits most cabins on standard 1/2-inch BSP fittings, measures 320mm × 160mm, and comes with its fixing lugs.
